TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: August 2026
Welcome to Memory Q’ero. We are honored that you’re considering a sacred journey with us. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, transparency, and mutual respect throughout your spiritual or cultural experience.
ABOUT MEMORY Q’ERO
Memory Q’ero is a spiritual and cultural initiative based in Cusco, Peru. We offer meaningful experiences including Andean ceremonies, treks to sacred mountains, ancestral rituals, and retreats guided by Q’ero elders—wisdom keepers of the Andean worldview.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
To reserve any of our tours, healing ceremonies, or spiritual retreats, we require:
-
A 50% deposit to secure your place.
-
The remaining 50% must be paid in cash (in either Peruvian soles or US dollars) at the start of the experience.
We accept the following payment methods:
-
National payments: Yape, Plin, BCP, Interbank, direct bank transfers.
-
International payments: Western Union, MoneyGram, PayPal, or international transfers.
Tour confirmations take approximately 24 hours, as we organize and coordinate every element with care and respect for the spiritual process.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
We offer a fair cancellation policy, with the following distinctions:
If your tour includes train tickets or entrance fees to archaeological sites (such as Machu Picchu), these elements are non-refundable. These services are contracted with third parties, and once booked, they cannot be claimed or reimbursed if canceled.
If you cancel a service that is only provided by Memory Q’ero (e.g., ceremonies, guided walks, private transport, meals), and notify us at least 7 days in advance, you will receive a 70% refund of the remaining balance, not of the total tour cost.
If you have paid the full amount (100%) and cancel more than 7 days before your tour, you will be refunded 70% of the total.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the tour start.
All cancellation requests must be sent to: qeromemory@gmail.com
MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES
We reserve the right to modify the itinerary or services if conditions require it—due to weather, road closures, social situations, or health-related reasons. Should changes occur, we will offer appropriate spiritual alternatives, maintaining the integrity and safety of the experience.
PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure a conscious and safe journey, each participant must:
-
Inform us in advance about any medical condition, allergies, or dietary needs that could affect their experience.
-
Sign a medical liability waiver prior to participating in healing ceremonies or mountain walks.
-
Memory Q’ero is not responsible for any health issue that was not disclosed in the reservation form or intake process.
For participants in ayahuasca or wachuma ceremonies:
These experiences are conducted in a sacred, meditative, and safe setting, with spiritual guidance from experienced Andean practitioners. The nature of these rituals does not interfere with your physical body, but spiritual and emotional sensitivity is essential.
Altitude sickness (soroche) is a common challenge in Cusco. We recommend taking the necessary precautions before and during your trip. In case of emergencies, we will assist you to the best of our ability and refer you to a medical center if needed.
For medical concerns, contact us at: qeromemory@gmail.com
IMAGE RIGHTS
We may capture photos or videos during our journeys to document or promote the experience. By participating, you grant us permission to use your image respectfully unless you notify us in writing beforehand.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content—text, images, audio, video, teachings, and ritual guidance—shared by Memory Q’ero is the intellectual property of the organization. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without permission is strictly prohibited.
LEGAL FRAMEWORK
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution first. If that is not possible, the matter will be settled in the courts of Cusco.
